Need someone to help you foil terrorist plots against the American government or simply make you a good plate of pasta? The low-key Virgil (David Marciano) is always there for volatile CIA analyst Carrie Mathison; he shows up at every crisis with his trusty van and his air of bemused resignation.
Kudos to “Homeland’s” writers and the dependably excellent Marciano for taking what could have been a throwaway role and making this cynical, but kind character an integral part of this great new drama.
